Tacoma Birth Photographer | Coming off a birth high takes time! I cannot believe that in the past three days I have witnessed two beautiful baby girls come earth side! Both times I had to make a mad dash out of gymnastics to make it on time! (I am starting to notice a trend!) But both times, I arrived with enough time to capture the support, love and beauty of labor, followed by the amazing testimony of birth a new life! Really, there is NOTHING better! I still can’t believe that I get to be in these moments with these beautiful mothers! I am truly honored and blessed!

I have a lot of work ahead of me, editing the photographs as well as video, for not only these two births, but the two births before these two births! But, tonight, I get to go to bed with my phone OFF! Which, for a birth photographer, is kind of strange, but also kind of exciting! I get to go to bed tonight knowing that I have no baby mamas who might need me at 2 am! I will greet this rest with arms wide open and enjoy this break from being on-call!
